Resort suites, Tagaytay — 96 guest suites, dual-layer shading
The resort was averaging complaints about early-morning light in its ridge-facing suites, where the previous single-layer shades blocked light through the fabric but leaked a bright outline at both jambs. Housekeeping also needed to open a whole floor without entering 24 rooms one at a time, and the property stayed open throughout, releasing no more than four rooms at a time from inventory.

Scope of work
Per suite: a blackout roller in 22 mm aluminium side channels with a bottom brush seal and cassette head, plus a separate sheer roller for daytime use, and a motorised blackout in the sitting area. One mock-up suite approved before production. Motors grouped by floor and aspect with a guest wall switch per room and a housekeeping scene per wing, all specified under 38 dB. Delivered wing by wing over five weeks. Fabric batch and motor model recorded per room type with matching parts held for ten years.
“The product is right and it fixed a real problem: our early-light complaints in the ridge suites went to zero once the side channels went in, and housekeeping opening a whole wing from one scene has saved my team about forty minutes a morning. The delivery, though, was not smooth. Fabric for the second wing arrived eleven days later than scheduled and I had to hold two suites out of inventory over a weekend that was fully booked. To their credit they worked the following Saturday and Sunday at no charge to catch up, and their project lead called me daily rather than waiting for me to chase. I would use them again, but I would build a buffer into the programme.”
