Read this first: none of this is real

Casa Verde Blinds does not exist. It is a made-up manufacturer built to demonstrate a website, and everything below is written to be realistic rather than true — the founding date, the plant in Cavite, the staff numbers, the showrooms, the case studies and the reviews. The clients in our project pages are anonymised inventions, not real organisations, and any resemblance to an actual company or development is coincidental and unintended. Nobody has ever bought a blind from us.

What is real is the technical content. The measuring guidance, the fabric behaviour, the fire and child-safety standards and the procurement mechanics are as accurate as we could make them, because a portfolio piece that gets its own subject matter wrong is not worth looking at. Read the advice; discount the company.

What we do

Casa Verde Blinds Manufacturing Inc. makes custom window blinds. Not imports resold with a markup: fabric, aluminium and timber arrive at our plant in Barangay Aguado, Trece Martires, Cavite, and blinds leave it cut to a specific window in a specific building. That is the whole business, and it is why we can hold a dye lot for a phased handover, replace a single louvre five years later, or shape a bottom rail to follow a sill that is not level.

Mission

To make window coverings that are measured properly, built to last in a tropical climate, and specified honestly — including when the honest answer is a cheaper product than the one on the enquiry.

Vision

To be the maker that architects, designers and facilities managers in Luzon call first, because the specification we give them survives the fire inspection, the housekeeping round, the rainy season and the fifth year.

History

Founded in 2005 as a two-bench workshop assembling roller blinds for contractors in Cavite, Casa Verde spent its first years doing subcontract work where the client’s name went on the invoice and ours did not. Learning the failure modes from that work — warped timber, chalked slats, delaminated blackout, brackets pulled out of gypsum — shaped everything we specify now.

The Quezon City showroom opened in 2012, which changed the business: clients could finally see a full panel of fabric at the window rather than a swatch. The Trece Martires plant moved to its present site in 2016 with the addition of powder-coating and a kiln for timber, and the Makati showroom followed in 2019 to reach designers and specifiers working the Makati and BGC corridor.

Commercial and institutional work now sits alongside residential: office fit-outs, hotels, hospitals and public-sector tenders. The same plant still supports every product we have ever sold, which is what makes a five-year parts commitment something we can actually keep. Today Casa Verde employs 64 people, 41 of them in production.

The factory

The plant at Barangay Aguado, Trece Martires, Cavite runs fabric cutting, tube assembly, aluminium powder-coating and a timber kiln under one roof, with a quality bench where every unit is squared and balanced before packing. Basswood is kiln-dried to 8% moisture content before machining and lacquered on all four faces, which is the specific step that stops the cupping this climate causes in blinds finished on three faces only.

Making locally also sets our response times. Parts are stocked here rather than ordered from abroad, so a warranty repair is measured in days, and a remake for a window that changed on site does not restart an import cycle.

Showrooms

Quezon City and Makati, both stocking full-size hanging panels rather than swatch books, with working motorised units you can operate and reveal mock-ups at three depths. Certifications and compliance

• Sunscreen and coated fabrics tested to NFPA 701 for flame propagation, with certificates issued per dye lot for fit-out submittals.
• PVC-coated fibreglass fabrics carry Greenguard certification for indoor air quality.
• Child safety built to EN 13120: breakaway connectors and installed tensioners on every corded blind, cordless and motorised options recommended wherever a window sits in a child’s space.
• PhilGEPS-registered with a complete eligibility set maintained for public-sector bidding under RA 9184.
• BIR-registered and VAT-registered; sales invoices issued against every order.
• 5-year warranty on mechanisms and workmanship, with parts held for at least five years on every product line.
