Residential tower, Mandaluyong — 214-unit blind programme
The building offered incoming owners a fitted blind package instead of leaving 214 units to arrange their own contractors, which had produced a mismatched façade and a stream of work-permit disputes. The management office needed one specification across three unit layouts, a fixed outward-facing fabric colour so the tower read as one building from the street, and an install programme that fitted the two-day-per-floor service-lift allocation without disturbing residents who had already moved in.

Scope of work
Zebra blinds in Pearl Grey for living and dining areas, blackout rollers in side channels for bedrooms, PVC rollers in wet areas. Every unit measured individually rather than from the developer drawings, which was justified within the first floor: reveal depths varied by up to 18 mm between stacks. Fitted floor by floor across nine weeks, six to eleven openings per unit, with a resident sign-off sheet per unit and all packaging removed the same day. Breakaway connectors and jamb-fixed tensioners throughout.
“Nine weeks, 214 units, and not one complaint filed with my office — which for a fit-out running through occupied floors is unheard of here. They worked to the service-lift allocation we gave them and never once asked for an exception. The detail that convinced the board was insisting on measuring every unit instead of using the developer drawings; the reveals turned out to vary by nearly 20 mm between stacks, so drawings would have meant remakes on our schedule.”
