Office tower fit-out, Quezon City — 14 floors of sunscreen shading
A 24/7 support operation moving into fourteen curtain-wall floors reported unusable afternoon glare on the west elevation during their trial fit-out. Building management prohibited any fixing into the glazing frame or structural silicone and mandated a single charcoal fabric reverse for the whole tower. No floor could lose a shift, so all work had to happen between 6 pm and 6 am with crew lists lodged a week ahead.

Scope of work
Sunscreen rollers at 3% openness in Charcoal, one blind per 1500 mm mullion module so a damaged unit is swapped without disturbing its neighbours. Brackets to the ceiling bulkhead on a supplied aluminium sub-frame, nothing touching the façade. A single bay was mocked up on the 11th floor and sat with the team for two days before release to production. Installed over twelve consecutive nights, two floors per night, with desk protection and a morning walkthrough with the facilities manager. Two rolls of matching dye-lot fabric left on site for tenant churn.

Casa Verde mocked up one bay and let the team sit with it for two days before we committed to fourteen floors, and the difference on the west elevation after 3 pm was obvious to everyone. Twelve nights of installation and we did not lose a single shift. They also left us matching fabric for churn, which no other bidder even mentioned.”
