Retail Stores
Flagship retail store, BGC — shopfront UV control on three levels
The retailer was writing off sun-faded textiles and rattan from its west-facing display windows within a season, but any shading had to keep the merchandise and the signage visible from the walkway. Mall engineering restricted fit-out to 10 pm–8 am behind hoarding, prohibited fixings anywhere near sprinkler lines and exit signage, and required a fit-out bond before access.

Scope of work
Solution-dyed sunscreen rollers at 5% openness in Stone, mounted above the display header so the shade never crosses the eye-level merchandising zone, blocking up to 95% of UV. Bracket positions set against the reflected ceiling plan and approved by mall engineering before production. Custom-matched Stone to the store colour identity and recorded the dye lot for the chain rollout that followed. Installed over four nights behind hoarding, with hoarding struck and the floor merchandisable each morning.
“We were writing off faded rattan and cushions every season from the west windows. The 5% Stone screen stopped that without hiding the display — foot traffic did not change, and our markdown on window stock dropped sharply in the first quarter after. They cleared their own hoarding every morning so we opened on time each day, and they had already checked bracket positions against the ceiling plan with mall engineering, so nothing had to be relocated at 2 am. We have since used the same spec sheet for four more branches.”
